How does this regenerative hair loss therapy work?
In this minimally invasive hair loss treatment, tiny amounts of fatty tissue are first removed from a suitable part of the patient's body using a microcannula. The prepared stem cells are then injected into the scalp. Follicles that produce thinner hair are strengthened to produce thicker hair, and inactive follicles are stimulated so that they resume their activity. At the same time, this treatment method has an anti-inflammatory effect and promotes blood circulation for a healthy scalp. This regenerative hair loss treatment can be used to close hair gaps in a gentle way.
How long does hair loss treatment with SEFFIHAIR® take?
The hair loss therapy is carried out in the treatment rooms of our private practice in Frankfurt. A single session lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. How many treatments are necessary to stop hair loss and stimulate new hair growth depends on the individual circumstances and is determined in a previous Consultation clarified. In order to effectively combat hair loss in the long term, the treatment should be repeated every 6 to 12 months, depending on the degree of hair loss of the patient.
Is the treatment with SEFFIHAIR® painful?
The minimally invasive procedure to remove the fat cells is performed under local anesthesia. The subsequent treatment of the scalp is carried out with short, thin needles and is practically painless. If you are very sensitive, you can apply an anesthetic cream before the treatment.
Is special scalp care necessary after hair loss treatment?
Patients can resume their usual activities just a few hours after hair loss treatment. It is recommended that the treated areas of skin be kept well hydrated and that they be protected from the sun or use sunscreen for the first few days. Our treatment team will advise you on any other care measures that may be appropriate for your individual needs.
Can SEFFIHAIR® therapy be combined with other alopecia treatments?
Yes. The autologous hair loss therapy from SEFFIHAIR® can be combined with other treatment methods against hair loss. SEFFIHAIR® can be combined with all common, proven treatments such as mesotherapy with an active ingredient cocktail or autologous blood, LED light therapy, carboxytherapy, or Injection of dutasteride as well as taking medications or products against hair loss that contain, for example, the active ingredients minoxidil or finasteride.
