occupational diseases of the skin
Occupational dermatoses are skin diseases that are caused by occupational influences or activities.
Recognized as an occupational disease
With regular activity outdoors, the job can leave telltale marks on our skin: actinic keratoses, for example, an early form of non-melanian skin cancer. The trigger is the natural UV radiation of the sun.
Occupational skin problems caused by skin-irritating substances or allergens
In many professions, workers come into contact with substances that can cause skin irritation. A distinction is made between toxic and allergic contact dermatitis. In some cases, however, the skin is also predisposed to atopic eczema.
